January 2014 – Kids stay home from the cold

We started off going to Great Grandpa Bud’s funeral and the kids got to see Grandpa Eddie’s tombstone.  The kids also took an interest in the Keyboard Papa and Grandma Linda had gotten them.  January was a very cold month as school was cancelled for a few days because of it.  Negative 40 with wind chill was cold enough to freeze water almost instantly.  The kids got to go outside in short bursts and we got to have a little in the house time with the whole family.

Meeting Ellie

Today is the day that our 3rd installment to the Munson family was delivered to us safely. The kids were so looking forward to meeting her and she didn’t disappoint. The first thing they wanted to do was help feed her so as soon as it could happen we made it happen. Sarah was awesome as usual helping me to manifest another human being into this world and as always she did a perfect job.

Branson ’12

Bittersweet as we were sending Wally away to live with Gramma and Papa. However after Wallace decided to relieve himself in the back of our new van it made it a little easier ;). Gramma and Papa rented a beautiful cabin for our stay and it couldn’t have been more relaxing. We went to the Dixie Stampede and Lalie had to get over her fear of the horses, after that the kids had an awesome time. The food was great and I remember Eddie eating all the brisket from our plates. The only thing we didn’t get pictures of is when we drove 45 minutes to Lambert’s for some down home cooking and Throwed Rolls. It was definitely worth the drive but I can still remember hearing Lalie in the bathroom from across the restaurant screaming from her UTI. We really did have a nice relaxing time and have some great memories from that trip.

Lombard Fest 2011

Every year the Lombard Fest comes to the end of our block and we always have a very enjoyable time. It’s fun watching the kiddos each year as they are little bigger and can go on different rides each time.

Our old Bass players’ band was playing the fest so we went up to see the show and retired back to our house for a bbq. James, Bridget and Mara came over as well and we all had a really good time. Our friends band and there entourage all stopped by and helped with the food.

The last 7 pictures are from when I took the kids to a Reptile show a few days later. Eddie got to hold a Python.
