Lombard Fest 2010
July 4th 2010 was very fun as the kids got to enjoy the fest together for the first time. JJ had just left in June and and these kids needed some cheering up.
Lalie Learns to Walk
Starved Rock
We all wanted to get away for a day or two so we decided on Starved Rock in southern Illinois. Uncle Russ, Aunt Eileen and Aunt JJ all occompanied us in Mom’s van down for the trip. Luckily our friends Perry and Sarah had a baby backpack for Lalie to use. We spent the night in the hotel and went hiking the whole next day. Eddie had a blast and kept asking to see more “Nature” while Lalie was more than content just being carried around and sleeping the day away. Still one of our best memories as a family.

Sarah and Eddie had talked of naming the new little girl Olivia. As that did not happen and her name was Eulalie we introduced her to Eddie as Lalie. This is the first time they met and that boy loved meeting her. You can tell he waited a long time to see her face.

Eddie had a ball dancing to the 80’s song “Eileen”. That whole night he was in overdrive.

We all went down with Eileen, Russ and Mom to Missouri to help pack Eileen for transit. Eddie was really young here as it was May of ’06. We went to the Bass Pro Shop and had fun playing soccer with that little boy.
